mother.fm is the pocket-sized pep talk for motherhood, created by founder and performance coach Georgia Devon-Shelley. Inside are more than 70 audio pep talks, affirmations and guided meditations of 3 to 18 minutes, covering confidence, body image, overwhelm and switching off, alongside a postnatal hormone tracker and practical tools for sharing the mental load with a partner.
Every affirmation and meditation is voiced by Georgia, recorded at SW6 Studios and scored with heart chakra healing frequency music. The pep talks are recorded at home and left deliberately unpolished, so you might even hear her son stirring on the baby monitor. This is support from one mother to another.
The hormone tracker covers the whole first year after birth, well beyond the fourth trimester, with postnatal timelines signed off by Dr Hiba, a doctor who is postpartum herself. The mental load tools, from ready-made lists to areas each partner can own by name, reflect Georgia's belief that real regulation is a joint effort, not something a mother should have to carry alone.
Members can request an audio on any topic from inside the app. Requests go straight to Georgia, who aims to record and upload within the week, and some of the most listened to audios began this way, from a pep talk for nursery drop off to one for anyone not ready for a second child yet, or ever.
The app works on any iPhone or Android phone and is added from the browser in under a minute, with no App Store download needed. Members are also invited to mother.fm's in-person workshops in London, and the lifetime membership never needs renewing.
